Welcome to the grim future version of 1998, where humanity has abandoned Earth and spread across the cosmos in search of resources to sustain its survival. Enter Xenofuel, a survival-action shoot-'em-up that pits you against an unforgiving alien world ruled by darkness, danger, and corporate greed.

You play as Nyx-7, a field operator employed by the ruthless Xenofuel Corp. Your job? To harvest the vital cores of alien creatures, the galaxy’s most coveted resource, used to fuel the company’s profits. Armed with limited gear and tasked with venturing into the hostile planet "dEX-????", you must fight for survival, collect resources, and repair your battered ship. But you're not alone, inside your malfunctioning ship, the Xenofuel-79, your companion Vega-9 plays a critical support role, monitoring the mission from the safety of the ship.

Meet the Characters

• Nyx-7: The boots-on-the-ground protagonist, equipped with advanced weaponry and tasked with braving the planet’s perils. His role is to fight off alien hordes, extract valuable cores, and survive the night. Beneath his stoic exterior lies growing doubt about his place in the company’s exploitative machine.
• Vega-9: A cautious and analytical astronaut, Vega-9 remains on the ship, guiding Nyx-7 through a network of outdated monitors and drones. Vega-9 must also manage the ship's failing systems, ensuring oxygen and power remain stable, while keeping the ship’s defenses online against alien infiltrations.

Gameplay Overview*

• Survival Under Pressure: Venture out as Nyx-7 during the day to gather resources, and brace yourself for the night, where alien creatures become increasingly aggressive.
• Dynamic Roles: Switch between Nyx-7’s on-field combat and Vega-9’s strategic monitoring inside the ship. Each decision matters—will you push your luck outside or focus on safeguarding the ship?
• Resource Management: Monitor oxygen, power, and ammunition carefully. Use the freeupgrades like the Gravity Boots for better mobility or the Improved Tank to carry more oxygen.

Enemies and Threats*

Face a variety of alien creatures, from the weak but numerous Blobs, to the erratic Vexors. Beware the Hand Flora, creatures that disguise themselves as plants by day and strike at night. The planet is unforgiving, and only those who adapt can hope to escape.
